Official, ROMA signed Bojan Krkic

Bojan Krikic
28.08.1990 (20)
Nationality: Spain, Serbia
Position: Striker
Foot: Right

Who is Bojan Krkic:
Bojan Krkic is a Spanish player, who came from Barcelona to Roma after long and long discussions. He is a right-strikers that prefer to shoot with right foot. His best season at Barcelona was 2007-2008, when he played 31 games, scoring 10 goals and 3 assist.

In season last season he played only 26 games (mostly used as regular striker ) and scored 6 goals and 2 assist.

Strong points:
Bojan is a young, talented and fast striker. He has proved to create many problems to opponent defenders, with his speed. Bojan has a good creativity. As he is a right footed player, he prefers to move inside channels and to find empty spaces. He needs to improve his technical.

Weak points:
His main weak point is that he doesn’t offer defensive coverage. As a striker, he was trained only to attack well, but when his team need a big help in defense, Bojan proved to fail doing this. Also Bojan do lack physical condition. He is ( ) years old and he has to train more and more to earn a stable physical condition. Due to his fast movements, he often get muscular problems or when he is in duel with strong body defenders, he get injured too. Also Bojan is 1.70 cm tall. This means that he can’t shoot the ball with his head and in most of Barcelona games he proved to be very weak in aerial attacking style.

Bojan Krkic's main position is striker. He is a right footed striker, but at same time he can use his left too. In my analysis I have watched 10 games of Barcelona I rated his right foot (9) and left foot (6.5).
Bojan, as said above prefer to play as striker, but he can be used as attacking midfielder left, right, or centre. As a fast striker he prefers to move into channels and place the shot. Sometimes he dribble too much the other defenders and he is criticized in most of times for this.

At ROMA, in 4-3-3 formation he can be used as right-striker:

If ROMA uses 4-3-2-1 tactic (very rare) he can be used as:

Pastore's future

Palermo's Argentinian star likely to leave Palermo.

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini is stubborn about 50M euros price and he is sad that Pastore is ready to leave but Zamparini thinks thats the right moment for his transfer because next season Pastore may not worth for 50M Euros or more.

But Pastore mentioned that if he leaves , he leaves Palermo only for a big club.

Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, Roma, Juventus, Milan and Malaga are showing interest for young Argentinian but price is too high.

Pastore has mentioned that he doesn't want to play for Malaga.

Spanish football is suited to Pastore's style, especially on the midfield zone but Pastore wants to stay in Italy. He had praised AC Milan several times but Milan have no luxury to spend 50M euros for next season.

Yet Pastore's future is a big question mark and probably he will make his decision after Copa America.

The FIGC (Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio) will allow Serie A teams to buy two new non-EU players per season rather than one.

The Clubs were pushing to change this rule back and Italian Football Federation has announced that Serie A teams will be able to buy new two non-EU players from this season again.

First to start...Palermo

After 25 days the first team to start will be Palermo, who will play in Europa League. Palermo got new manager, he is Stefano Pioli (ex-Chievo). Lets present now how can play the new Palermo of Stefano Pioli in season 2011-2012.

Most probable lineup will be:

In his first press conference he said that teh tactic of the team will be 3-4-2-1, or 3-5-2, or even 4-3-2-1. Liverani, Kasami and Garcia left the team. Liverani was used mostly as playmaker in cetre of midfield, so after he left, Palermo is searching for a playmaker, similar to him. For the moment Palermo lack in centre of midfield, when they need to buy 2 more central midfielders. Nocerino can't play all the games, while Migliaccio sometimes get booked, or injured and so far there is no real substitute for these 2 players.

As said above Pioli like to play with 3 defenders, so in this case they will use potential defensive players in midfield, so Cassani and Balzaretti as moving one step forward from their original positions.

Palermo signed with Mantovani and Milanovic, who are going to play respectively as Left Back (Mantovani) and Right Back (Milanovic). In midfield as said above will not me any big change appart the fact that RB Balzaterri is moving as Right Back Winger and LB Cassani is moving as Left Back Winger.

Pioli like to play with 2 attacking midfielders, so Ilicic and Pastore will play behind the lonely striker which will be Hernandez. Miccoli seems to start from bench, but most probably he will leave the team to another club.

The objective of Palermo are:
Beric (Maribor striker)
Parolo (Cesena, midfielder)
Alvarez (Velez, midfielder)
Carrasco (Audax Italiano, midfielder)

Cagliari signed El Kabir

Moestafa El Kabir is the new striker of Cagliari. He is from Netherlands and last season he played at Mjallby ( Sweden ). His preferred foot is right, but can shoot with left foot too.

In season 2010 he scored 10 goals and 2 asist in 24 games, while in season 2011 he played only 9 games, scoring 5 goals.

The positions El Kabir can play at Cagliari:

Video of El Kabir:

Atalanta, Siena and Novara
