After the winter break Serie A finally started.
At the opening game Siena outplayed Lazio and gave to Lazio biggest defeat of the season. Lazio were desperate without Marchetti , Konko , Dias and Hernanes. Reja doesn't have a deep squad and Lazio couldn't handle with the numerous injuries. Siena showed a good performance and deservedly won the game.
Before the Derby Inter's performance was a question mark , Ranieri's Inter played against Parma in San Siro and showed a great performance. Inter dominated the game from the first minute and had an easy victory against Parma with 5-0 even without Sneijder.
Udinese have added another victory to their great home record , The Zebrette have passed 10 men Cesena easily with four goals. Di Natale netted two goals.
Milan visited Bergamo , to play against Atalanta which team is unbeaten at home at Lombardia Derby , Zlatan Ibrahimovic's performance was the key of winning such a difficult game. Zlatan have scored one goal from penalty kick and made an assist to Prince Boateng.
Roma finally found consitency and started to collect points. Before the winter break Luis Enrique's system has started to work , Roma had great results against Juventus , Bologna and Napoli before the winter break. Roma have beaten Chievo with Totti's two goals.
Genoa kept their bad run and had an unexpected defeat against Cagliari with 3-0 score. Cagliari were having scoring problems , it seems Ballardini found a solution at the winter break.
Genoa's new coach was complaintive about the numerous injuries after his team's defeat.
Bologna won against Catania with 2-0. Montella mentioned that it was the worst performance of the season for Catania and it will not repeat again. Catania had some important missing before Bologna game.
Conte's Juventus have won in Via Del Mare with Matri's goal. Juventus held the score after finding an early goal. Cosmi's Lecce fought well , had some chances to equalise but couldn't pass Buffon.
Delio Rossi's new formation worked excellent against the relegation candidates Novara.
Fiorentina didn't have much problems beating Tesser's Novara. 2012 will be tough for Novara.
Napoli are back to the league , Mazzarri's team have struggled while they played on UEFA Champions League , after qualified from the group Mazzarri's Napoli have finally started to show their real power in Serie A , before the winter break they had a sensational results against Genoa with 6-1 and today Napoli have won against Palermo in Sicily with 1-3.
2012 started good for Italianpreviews , most of the games finished as predicted and it was a nice round for betting.
