We all expected to watch a great game between Milan and Inter with a lot of goal positions. But we watched one sided game. Milan had %60+ ball position and tried to open Inter's defense whole 90 minute.
Inter defense were brilliant. First time they reminded Mou's Inter. All midfielders worked hard and didn't let Milan to create goal positions and closed all gaps. Lucio & Samuel were just excellent.
Inter did not play a beautiful game , there's nothing beautiful with the ''Catenaccio'' anymore but win is win. They have won 6th consecutive games in Serie A.
Allegri's biggest mistake was to start with Emanuelson. How many times Allegri started with Emanuelson as a trequartista and send Boateng to midfield trio? Did he wait to do that for the Derby ?
Why he didn't start with Boateng - Robinho and Zlatan ?
Anyway , Ranieri did a great job since his arrival and it seems Inter are back to the scudetto race.
At the this round Milan , Juventus , Udinese and Napoli all the title candidates have dropped points.
This round was Inter's round.
